For this have them write there own short little script. Give some parameters.
2k words (including broll shots etc) will get me 10-12 minutes of final video, so probably shoot for about 300- 500 words, that’s enough to get a good hook and intro.

A good YouTube video is not an accident. We don’t live in 2018 where run and gun vloggers are going viral. A good video needs to be well thought out and executed. And all of that begins with a good script. Essentially your script is the blueprint of your video. Create a bad blue print, create a bad video. If your videos are suffering, it’s probably not your editing, probably not your gear, it’s probably your script.
You would be surprised how many of the big YouTubers you follow write a very detailed script. They can’t afford not to.
